Irons Family Reunions

My mom bought this little Sesame Street car for Brody and Bryelle to play with.

It's always fun when we go to Vegas because we get to see our Dobbs cousins. This time we also got to see their new house.

My dad loves watching westerns and Brody sat and watched them with him with his "cowboy hat" of course. TOO CUTE!!

On our way to reunion we were able to stop and see one of my very best friends, Anna and her cute little kiddos. Thank goodness for good friends!

Dobbs Family Reunion

In July we went to the Dobbs Family Reunion in Cascade, ID. Most of the family camped, while some of the pregnant people with toddlers got a motel room (wimps, I know!) We had a great time playing on the beach, going on the boat, singing songs, doing indian chants, going on a scavenger hunt, playing games, making crafts, visiting, and eating yummy food. It is always so fun to spend time with family and catch up.
(Side note: I got like 50 mesquito bites and Tyson didn't get 1, what is that about? I must be sweeter!)

Tyson has been working on perfecting the art of rib making. He's used our barbecue for a few years and found ways to smoke the ribs, tried different rubs, etc. He finally invested in an actual smoker. You can see from the smile on his face how excited he was to make ribs using his new smoker. I love that he has this hobby as it gives me a wonderful break from cooking and the ribs are delicious!!

Happy 4th of July!

For the 4th of July our ward had a little parade that went around the block. All the little kids had decorated bikes, strollers, wagons, etc. They threw candy at the few people that were out in their yards watching.

Brody chooses to run over walking anywhere so he got a little tired about halfway around.

Brody's mouth is full of the candy that we were supposed to be passing out. (excuse the fat pregnant girl!)

These are the cute little North kids that we had fun walking with in the parade!

At the end they gave all the kids a popsicle and Brody savored every lick. He was a HUGE mess!

Strawberry Farm

This is the cute little train/tractor ride that they had at the Strawberry Farm. As you can see Brody started out very happy and ended up Super Sad! It was pretty funny to watch. (click on picture to enlarge)
